"Casino Del Sol Resort, Spa and Conference Center will officially open its doors on Friday, November 11th. Wendell Long, CEO of Sol Casinos, says the resort is a 215-room entertainment “destination” that features more than 65,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and convention space.
“We’re raising the expectations of not only our guests but also our employees, and we want to meet and exceed those expectations,” says Long.
The new resort, owned by the Pascua Yaqui Tribe, completed the $130 million expansion in less than two years. Long says that the property is expected to be profitable, and the jobs created by the project are a needed boost to the economy."
