The Indian Health Service has updated its coronavirus testing data, showing results as of 11:59 pm Eastern on May 10, 2020.

According to the data, 57,252 tests have been administered within the IHS system. Of those, 5,467 have returned positive for COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus. That represents a 4 percent increase from the 5,255 cases previously reported.

Overall, testing increased by nearly 2.3 percent between May 9 and May 10, the data shows. It grew by 1.4 percent between May 8 and May 9.

The small increases are indicative of a lull that has been seen in the IHS data during weekends.

In contrast, the coronavirus testing growth rate hovered around 6.4 percent over the weekdays leading up to May 8.
