“We have to continue to push back on COVID-19 by getting more of our people vaccinated and more booster shots. If you are 50 years and older or are immunocompromised, you are eligible to receive a second booster shot at any health care facility on the Navajo Nation. If you go into public places or travel off the Navajo Nation, please take precautions and be careful. The rates of new cases are higher in towns and cities off our Nation. Please continue to be safe and take care of your elders,” said Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez.
Health care facilities on the Navajo Nation continue to administer COVID-19 vaccines. If you would like to receive one of the COVID-19 vaccines, please contact your health care provider and schedule an appointment.
“We are in this together and through our support for one another, we will continue to push forward through this pandemic. Please continue to pray for your loved ones, our frontline workers, and all of those who are fighting against the virus. Be safe and please keep taking precautions to keep yourself and others safe and healthy,” said Vice President Myron Lizer.
