“Please get fully vaccinated as soon as possible to help push back on COVID-19 and the Delta variant. We have to remain diligent, keep wearing masks in public, minimize travel, and keep adhering to the recommendations of our public health experts. The safest place to be is at home here on the Navajo Nation where the infection rate is much lower than areas and cities off of the Navajo Nation. Please be safe and keep taking precautions to keep yourselves and others healthy,” said Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez.
Health care facilities across the Navajo Nation continue to administer COVID-19 vaccines. If you would like to receive one of the COVID-19 vaccines, please contact your health care provider and schedule an appointment.
“Let’s remain focused on doing what we need to do each day to remain safe and healthy and to reduce the spread of COVID-19. We are in this together, so let’s remain strong and continue to support one another. Please keep praying for our health care workers, those fighting COVID-19, and all of our communities,” said Vice President Myron Lizer.
