POL COVID-19 Case Update
UPDATE: Seventeen (17) active COVID-19 positive cases within the Pueblo of Laguna. The POL EOC continues to track and monitor the COVID-19 virus in our community and schools.
ARE YOU FEELING SICK? The POL EOC would like to remind everyone that self-monitoring of COVID-19 symptoms is critical to the safety of our community, especially, in our work and school environments. Avoidance of getting tested when symptoms are present can impact many households, classrooms, and offices. If you cannot tell if it’s allergies, a cold, or the flu…GET TESTED!
Top 5 COVID-19 Symptoms identified for all ages are headache, fatigue, loss of appetite, muscle or body aches, and cough. Other symptoms include fever or chills, shortness of breath, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea.
POL COVID-19 Test Site is open Monday-Friday from 1:00pm-4:00pm at the Mesita Public Safety Complex. CLICK HERE to schedule a test or call Audrey Creager 250-6792 or Tina Jojola 290-4058. Don’t forget FREE face masks available at the site!
Lastly, don’t forget your COVID-19 Safe Practices to help stop the spread of the virus:
- Get a COVID-19 vaccination
- Wear a Face Mask when you leave your home
- Continue COVID-19 Testing, if you HAVE SYMPTOMS
- Avoid Large Indoor Crowds and Gatherings
- Keep 6-ft Social Distance
- Wash Your Hands Often & avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
