AKWESASNE — The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Emergency Operations Center and Health Services are reporting no new cases of COVID-19 — leaving four (4) total active cases under the Tribe’s jurisdiction. There are 12 family members and friends following guidance from public health and quarantining at home to prevent community spread. We thank them for their cooperation and wish them all a safe and complication-free recovery.
During the past month, there has been 34 cases of COVID-19 reported in the southern portion of Akwesasne. They, along with others who are already vaccinated, will also be eligible to receive one of five $1,000 Milestone Incentive Drawings when the vaccination rate reaches 50% and 60%.
