STAY HOME, STAY SAFE, SAVE LIVES 03.22.20
Navajo Police are out in the communities cautioning the public and urging them to stay home, stay safe, and save lives! Thank you to everyone for your encouraging words and prayers as we fight to protect our people from COVID-19. We will continue to get the word out through social media, radio, news media, billboards, pamphlets, and through our first responders on the ground. Thank you to all of our Nation’s first responders who are on the front lines protecting our people from COVID-19. Ahe’hee’

THANK YOU FIRST RESPONDERS 03.22.20
All proper precautions were taken today, as President Jonathan Nez helped deliver firewood to Kayenta, Ariz., which will be delivered by first responders to residents in Chilchinbeto with the first priority being the elderly and high-risk. He also stopped to thank first responders who are serving on the front lines to help residents in need.
A big thank you also goes out to all of the hard working employees from the Navajo Department of Health, Division of Public Safety, and others who prepared and delivered bags of coal, food, sanitizing products, and more. Thank you to the “Across Nations” group for donating firewood for our people today.
President Nez said, “Now more than ever, our Navajo people need to come together and help, uplift, and pray for one another and that includes our Nation’s leaders. Let’s stand together and fight the COVID-19 coronavirus together. The easiest way to fight the virus at this point is to stay home, to avoid a massive public health crisis on our Nation.”
