In support of local and Tribal communities, the Bureau of Indian Education is temporarily closing schools, on a case-by-case basis, to match local Tribal and State decisions to ensure we are aligned with our communities.

According to the BIE, staff and students report initially to their school site to ensure an orderly transition period as BIE provides communications to school leaders, staff and parents about what to expect during the closure period.
