Members of the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe of New York went to the polls on Saturday to choose a new set of leaders.

Three chiefs and three sub-chiefs were chosen. According to news accounts, the new slate has been critical of a $100 million land and gaming settlement the tribe recently entered into were elected.

The only incumbent seeking re-election, Chief Alma Ransom, was ousted.
