A federal judge in Florida dismissed Jim Billie's lawsuit against the Seminole Tribe.

Billie sought reinstatement as chairman or a chance to run for office.

The tribal council formally removed him from his duties in March and also said he doesn't qualify for re-election because he lives off-reservation.
