MAY 17, 2001 Voters of Florida's Seminole Tribe went to the polls on Monday, keeping two incumbents in office and ousting another. David R. Cypress remains the Big Cypress represenative and Max B. Osceola Jr. the Hollywood one. John Wayne Huff Sr. is the council's new Brighton representative, having unseated Jack Smith Jr. Occasionally controversial and always outspoken Chief Jim Billie is up for re-election in 2003.
