Dave Anderson nomination hits another snag in Senate

Dave Anderson's nomination to head the Bureau of Indian Affairs was delayed last week due to Republican-Democrat dispute, The Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Republicans included Anderson on a list of 90 presidential nominees they wanted to confirm before the Thanksgiving holiday. But Democrats objected because the list included four controversial judicial nominees. Democrats offered another list that included Anderson but Republicans refused, the paper said. Get the Story:
