Wednesday, October 1, 2003
One of the founders of One Nation, an Oklahoma group criticized as anti-Indian, is opposing attempts by tribes to assert environmental authority over their lands. Mickey Thompson, executive vice president of the Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association. says tribes seeking treatment as states from the Environmental Protection Agency will hurt the economy.
