Editorial: Attack alcoholism with jobs

The only way to stem the sale of liquor in the Nebraska border town of Whiteclay is to attack alcoholism, The Sioux Falls Argus Leader says in an editorial.
The paper supports a cross-deputization agreement that will allow police from the nearby Pine Ridge Reservation, in South Dakota, to enforce the law in Whiteclay. But the real solution is to create jobs and economic development on the reservation.
