Chairman Ken Choke of the Nisqually Tribe testifies in support of H.R.7515 on April 29, 2026.
H.R.7515 directs the Department of the Interior to convey the Clear Creek Hatchery in Washington to the Nisqually Tribe. The tribe already manages the facility on behalf of the federal government.
Choke testified at a hearing of the House Subcommittee on Water, Wildlife and Fisheries. The subcommittee is part of the House Committee on Natural Resources.
