Puyallup Tribe contributes $900K to five groups and non-profits

The Puyallup Tribe of Washington donated $900,000 to five groups and non-profits, The Tacoma Weekly reported.

The tribe donated $550,000 to the Spirit of 12, a charitable group started by the Seattle Seahawks.

Another $100,000 went to the Toy Rescue Mission in Tacoma. The tribe also donated $50,000 to the Northwest Harvest, a hunger relief agency.

The Tahoma Indian Center received $100,000. Finally, the tribe donated $100,000 to the Emergency Food Network.
