MSNBC: Reid calls for NFL team name change
A Nevada tribe refused to accept a gift from the Original Americans Foundation, Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nevada), the Senate majority leader, said on MSNBC today. Reid said the foundation bought a vehicle for the unnamed tribe. But "to their credit," the tribe didn't accept the gift. "Snyder -- like he does everywhere -- he tries to buy them off," Reid said of NFL owner team owner Dan Snyder. Reid has repeatedly called on Snyder to eliminate his team's racist mascot.
