Corruption case dismissed against leader of Chippewa Cree Tribe





Federal prosecutors have dropped all charges against a leader of the Chippewa Cree Tribe of Montana.

John “Chance” Houle was one of six people who were accused of stealing from the tribe. But all 17 charges are being dismissed in federal court.

Houle had been suspended from the council following his indictment.
