Letter: Attorneys take excessive fees in trust fund settlement

"The lawyers who were in contention with the Cobell settlement case are no different than the one I had contended with on a past lawsuit. The lawyers in question made the Pharisees of the Bible appear like Boy Scouts after ripping into my settlement coffers.

I approached the Montana Bar Association, pleading my case of being charged exhorbitant fees, and they just allowed him to apologize to the court while I was overcharged $30,000, which he kept with the court's blessing. Of course, the association, being made up of his friends and cohorts in crime, rendered my case "closed.""
