Man charged for drive-by shooting on Samson Cree Nation
A man has been charged in connection with a shooting on the Samson Cree Nation in Alberta that authorities say was gang-related.

Clinton Roy Green, 20, is charged with discharging a firearm with the intent to endanger life and other firearms charges. Authorities say he shot at a home on the reserve, resulting in injuries to a 22-year-old woman.

The woman was not the intended victim, authorities. A similar incident occurred on the reserve in April 2008, when a toddler was hit by a stray bullet in a gang-motivated shooting.

Authorities say about a dozen gangs are active on the reserve.
