Voters of the Osage Nation
of Oklahoma go to the polls today to choose a new chief and a new assistant chief.
John D. Red Eagle and Tim Tall Chief will face off for the chief's position. Red Eagle currently serves as assistant chief. Tall Chief is a retired state official.
Scott BigHorse and Amanda Proctor are vying for the assistant chief job. Bighorse is a former state lawmaker and Proctor is an attorney who has represented the tribe.
