A judge in New York dismissed indictments against the Cayuga Nation and ordered Seneca County to return $375,000 worth of cigarette to the tribe.
The tribe won a decision from the New York Court of Appeals that protected its smoke shops from county interference.
The tribe plans to sue the county for damages.
Cayuga County also faces a lawsuit from the tribe over the seized cigarettes. But both counties have voted to ask the U.S. Supreme Court to hear the tobacco dispute.
