Members of the Standing Rock Sioux
Tribe go the polls today to vote for chairman and other top leadership posts.
Incumbent Chairman Ron His Horse Is Thunder is seeking re-election. He will face former chairman Charles Murphy, who won the most votes in the primary.
Tribal members will also choose a vice chair, secretary and eight council members.
The tribe's reservation straddles the North Dakota-South Dakota border.
