The Senate Indian Affairs
Committee has scheduled a business meeting this Thursday.
Sen. Byron Dorgan (D-North Dakota), the committee chairman, previously said the committee will vote on the nomination of Larry EchoHawk to be assistant secretary of Indian affairs at the Department of the Interior. EchoHawk, a Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma, went before the committee last Thursday.
The meeting takes place at 10:30am in Room 628 of the Senate Dirksen Office Building.
