Gov. Palin on schedule for AFN annual convention
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) is on the agenda for the annual Alaska Federation of Natives this week in Anchorage. This year's convention takes place Thursday through Saturday at the recently opened Dena'ina Civic and Convention Center. Palin is scheduled to speak on Thursday. Palin spoke to AFN in 2006, when she was running for governor. Her husband, Todd Palin, is Native. The convention is preceded by the First Alaskans Institute Elders & Youth Conference, which started on Monday. Get the Story:
