A fourth Indian superdelegate will play a role in deciding the Democratic Party's nominee for president.
On April 26, Laurie Weahkee, of Cochiti Pueblo and Zuni Pueblo, was chosen as a superdelegate by the New Mexico Democratic party. Until then, there were only three Indian superdelegates, two of whom have officially endorsed Sen. Barack Obama (D-Illinois)
Weahkee hasn't committed to Obama or Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-New York). She wants to know where each candidate stands on tribal sovereignty and Indian health care.
