Indian lawmaker in Montana backs Sen. Obama

Montana Rep. Jonathan Windy Boy, a member of the Chippewa Cree Tribe, has endorsed Sen. Barack Obama (D-Illinois) for president.

"He (Obama) is going to bring a breath of fresh air to the United States like (Gov.) Brian Schweitzer brought a breath of fresh air to Montana," Windy Boy said at a press conference, the Associated Press reported.

Windy Boy is among 37 past and present state officials who backed Obama.
