The Sisseton-Wahpeton Sioux Tribe of South Dakota has received a $1 million grant from the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community of Minnesota.
The money will be used to build two community centers. The tribe's existing buildings are too small and are in need of repair.
The Shakopee Tribe has donated millions and awarded millions in grants to tribes and Indian organizations across the country.
