The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community of Minnesota is hosting its annual wacipi this weekend from August 20-22.
More than 10,000 people attended last year's pow-wow. This year's event is expected to draw more than 500 dancers. Drums are coming from the U.S. and Canada.
The tribe will give out cash prizes for dancers.
