Interior Secretary Dirk Kempthorne will administer the oath of office to Carl Artman as Assistant Secretary for Indian Affairs tomorrow at 3:30pm.
The ceremony takes place in the Sidney Yates Auditorium at the main Interior building in Washington, D.C.
Members of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin, including a color guard and a youth group from the Oneida Elementary School, will participate.
Artman was confirmed as assistant secretary on March 5. He is the former assistant solicitor for Indian Affairs at Interior and a former chief counsel to the Oneida Nation.
