Tex Hall challenges results after losing election

Tex Hall, the ousted chairman of the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation of North Dakota, has challenged the results of the tribe's election.

Hall alleges casino money was used to influence votes for his opponent, Marcus Wells Jr. Wells won the November 7 election by more than 200 votes.

The tribal election board will hear the challenge today. Hall said he will present evidence that player's cash was used to influence the election. He asked the National Indian Gaming Commission to investigate but the agency didn't find any wrongdoing.
