Makah Nation sets up water purification system

The Makah Nation of Washington is getting some relief from its water woes.

A water purification system from the U.S. Navy arrived on the reservation on Monday. The Indian Health Service and the Army arranged for transport of the 17-ton system that will purify saltwater.

The tribe declared an emergency two weeks ago after water sources ran low. The tribe's system had less than two days of water in storage.
