Jourdain re-elected chairman of Red Lake Nation


Floyd Jourdain was re-elected as chairman of the Red Lake Nation of Minnesota on Tuesday.

Jourdain defeated former tribal secretary Judy Roy by just 71 votes. He had the majority of absentee votes while she had the majority of reservation votes.

Also elected on Tuesday were secretary Katherine (Jody) Beaulieu and four tribal council representatives.
