Onawa Lacy, a 23-year-old member of the Navajo Nation, is competing in the Miss USA pageant tonight.
Lacy, a recent graduate of the University of New Mexico, has been in Baltimore, Maryland, all week preparing for the big event. She is the first Native American woman from New Mexico to participate.
The competition airs at 9pm EDT on NBC. Check local listings for channel and time.
