A woman from the Crow Reservation in Montana was sentenced to three years in federal prison for taking part in a methamphetamine trafficking ring.
Kaylene Alden could have been sentenced to 10 years but the judge gave her a break because she was not a major player in the drug ring, lacked a criminal record and cooperated with authorities.
Alden's co-defendant, Duane Ellsworth Lafferty, pleaded guilty in February to selling meth.
