The Tachi-Yokut Tribe and local law enforcement in California cooperated to break up a drug ring at the tribe's casino.
Police arrested 31 people on a number of counts, including the sale of methamphetamine. Tribal leaders authorized the Kings County Narcotics Force to perform an undercover sting.
California is a Public Law 280 state, so the state has criminal jurisdiction on Indian lands.
