Northern Cheyenne Tribe votes on development


Members of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe of Montana voted on two resource development initiatives on Tuesday.

Voters overwhelmingly rejected a coalbed methane initiative. The vote was 941 to 365.

However, voters approved coal reserve development. The count was much closer, 664 to 572.
