The Oneida Nation of Wisconsin and Brown County have been negotiating for two years on a service-fee agreement.
The talks have been positive, a county executive said, but both sides disagree on how much the tribe should pay the county for services provided to trust land. In 2002 and 2003, the tribe paid $500,000 in lieu of paying property taxes on trust land.
The tribe has reached a deal with Outagamie County worth $1.2 million over 10 years.
