Gerald Danforth was elected as chairman of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin on Saturday.
Danforth previously served as chairman from 1999 to 2002. He has been working with the National Indian Gaming Association, where he recently developed EagleIntel, a nationwide intelligence network aimed at stopping casino crime.
Danforth said halth care is a top priority. The tribe is also hoping to settle its land claim with the state of New York.
