The city of Wichita fired the director of the Mid-America All-Indian Center on Tuesday after just two months on the job.
Carla Brown was told she no longer "fit" the role of director. She had been in charge of the center since May 10.
The city took over the center after it was plagued by mismanagement and other problems.
