A husband and wife were sentenced to more than 20 years in prison each for their roles in a methamphetamine and drug ring on the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming.
Donna Ree Goodman received 24 years in prison while her husband John James Goodman received almost 21 years. They were part of what authorities said was the largest drug ring ever busted on the reservation.
Donna Ree is the sister of Lynda Noah, a former tribal judge also arrested as part of the ring. In her position, Noah heard drug and drug-related cases on the reservation.
Noah pleaded guilty in March to conspiracy to distribute meth and prescription drugs and to threatening a Bureau of Indian Affairs officer.
