Navajo Nation President Joe Shirley Jr. is forming a task force to lobby against budget cuts affecting the tribe.

The task force will be composed of personnel from the tribal divisions expected to see cuts if President Bush's fiscal year 2007 budget goes through. Among other programs, Bush is trying to cut education, housing and urban health care.

Shirley said the Navajo Nation could end up losing millions.
