The home of former president Andrew Jackson, who ordered the removal of Indian nations to west of the Mississippi, has been added to the Trail of Tears National Historic Trail.
Jackson's home in Nashville is known as the Hermitage. The Cherokee Nation worked with the Hermitage to add the home to the trail.
