Members of the St. Croix Band of Chippewa Indians were given a sobering portrait of the dangers of methamphetamine by retired narcotics agent Doyle L. Turner.
Turner, who is Cherokee, said the tribe has to combat meth use. I put them on notice that if they dont so something about this dangerous drug, theyre community may collapse, he said, The Burnett County Sentinel reported.
Turner talked about the physical, mental and psychological damage that meth causes. He said people become easily addicted to the drug.
