The Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California has joined a partnership to combat what is being called a methamphetamine epidemic.
Chairman Brian Wallace said meth was once known as a rural drug. But now he said it has invading all types of communities regardless of ethnic background or income. "We're being stalked by it," he said, The Pahrump Valley Times reported.
The tribe and the Partnership of Community Resources sponsored a conference on August 12 to address meth issues.
