A fire on the Ute Mountain Ute Reservation in Colorado was 75 percent as of Wednesday night, The Denver Post reports.
The 300-acre Dwelling Fire is burning within the Ute Mountain Ute Tribal Park, home to important cultural sites. It was started over the weekend by lightning.
After doing a fly-over, tribal officials said the sites appear to be safe. A ground survey will be conducted to determine any damages.
