Oneida Nation negotiating agreement with county

The Oneida Nation of Wisconsin is negotiating a municipal service agreement with Brown County.

The tribe previously signed a two-year agreement with the county in 2001. Under that agreement, the tribe pays $500,000 for county services on trust lands.

The tribe has already negotiated similar deals with four local governments. Another is pending with Outagamie County.
