Mashantucket Tribe offers discount prescriptions


The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation is opening its pharmacy program to the 1,200 members of the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut.

Chamber members will be able to buy prescription drugs from the tribe at up to a 40 percent discount. The program is aimed at smaller business owners and their families.

The program is already available to tribal members and employees. About 5,000 orders are filled every week.
