Editorial: Crow Creek Tribe deserves credit

"It's taken some begging and borrowing and cajoling, but it looks like the Crow Creek Tribal School at Stephan might be able to open for classes this fall after all.

'We will be about three weeks later than normal in starting, but it looks like we can start,' said Superintendent Scott Raue.

Government support should have been better and come faster. But school and tribal officials didn't give up. That dedication will pay off - for the students."
