A man who sold methamphetamine on reservations in Wyoming, South Dakota and Nebraska was sentenced to life in prison.

Jesus Martin Sagaste-Cruz was convicted of distribution of methamphetamine and conspiracy. Authorities said he exploited Native Americans by selling the drug on the Wind River Reservation and Fremont County in Wyoming, the Rosebud, Pine Ridge and Yankton reservations in South Dakota and the Santee Sioux Reservation in Nebraska.

Sagaste-Cruz will serve his sentence in federal prison.
